Artist BIO

Tina Davila has been producing her unique pottery since 1974 when she and her partner arrived in La Cienega, New Mexico, an historic farming valley just south of Santa Fe.

Having graduated from the Calif College of Arts& Crafts in Oakland Ca with a degree in painting she began a 35 year long collaboration with potter and partner Bob Brodsky while simultaneously building their homemade solar adobe home and studio nestled among the arroyos, cottonwoods and junipers in the high desert countryside. Their Rabbit Artworks studio attracted visitors and collectors from all over the country for decades while their business, gardens, adobe compound and three children grew and flourished.

Today, Tina continues producing the pottery with the occasional ceramic contributions from her three sons. Drawing, painting, animals, gardening, cooking, family and yoga are her foremost passions. She feels that the origins of her artistic sensibility are rooted in her Mexican, Italian, Norwegian  heritages and her childhood years riding horseback in hilly rural Pennsylvania, as well many summers exploring her grandparents sumptuous farm in Sonoma, California.
